About Lisa

I started my business in 2007 with a simple goal—to create something that combined my lifelong love of animals with my passion for delivering exceptional, reliable service. After trying to come up with the “perfect” name, I decided to make it personal and name it after myself—and I’ve never looked back.

I was born in Florence, Alabama, moved to Decatur in 1998 where my business first took root, and in 2017 I made Huntsville my home.

My connection with animals began long before this business—it’s something that has always been part of who I am.

My mom tells a story that perfectly captures it. When I was just two years old, she couldn’t find me anywhere in the house. Panicked, she went outside and heard me softly talking to someone. As she got closer, she realized that “someone” was actually a wild cat—one of the feral cats from the woods behind our home that no one else could get near, let alone touch.

She said her heart dropped. She was afraid that if she startled the cat, it would scratch me. So she stood quietly at the back door and watched. There I was, holding this wild cat, loving it so gently, talking to it like it was the most natural thing in the world. After a few moments, I let it go, and it slipped right back into the woods.

She always said that was the moment she knew I had a special gift with animals—and as I grew older, that never changed.

Before starting my business, I worked in my family’s business and later as a professional recruiter. But by the end of 2006, I knew I wanted something more meaningful—what I like to call a “happiness change.” So I took a leap, became self-employed, and built a business centered around care, trust, and genuine love for animals.

Today, I’m grateful every day to do what I love. Caring for pets isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. I treat every pet as if they were my own, and I take pride in giving my clients peace of mind knowing their animals are safe, loved, and truly cared for.
